Mariner Pre-USCG Evaluation Service If you want to ensure that your application and your qualifications meet all of the Coast Guard requirements, this is the service for you! This service includes our License and Document Application Preparation so that you gain the benefit of organization, and efficiency as well as the peace of mind that you have done everything you can to ensure a timeley and accurate submission to the U.S. Coast Guard. We treat your first pre-evaluation as the begining of a long term relationship. This helps us answer your future questions, provide you with accurate career guidance, and gives you a significant start on your next pre-evaluation. You are encouraged to add to your information store at frequent intervals to keep it up to date. When you are ready for your next action your pre-evaluation will be much quicker, plus you gain peace of mind and security by keeping your records with us.
If we find you are qualified for your application, we complete your package with a cover letter to that effect, signed by our chief evaluator. In the event an application we approve is disapproved by the U.S. Coast Guard (on merit or technical issues - not criminal or other issues we have no knowledge or control over) we immediately appeal the denial to the highest level on your behalf. Please note: While we are all about keeping the number of trips you make to the REC to a minimum, Mariners are required to appear in person before the U.S. Coast Guard for certain transactions, and at this time, we do not deal with background investigations or fingerprinting in conjunction with Mariner applications. |
