Mariner Pre-USCG Evaluation Service

If you want to ensure that your application and your qualifications meet all of the Coast Guard requirements, this is the service for you! This service  includes our License and Document Package Preparation so that you gain the benefit of organization, and efficiency as well as the peace of mind that you have done everything you can to ensure a timeley and accurate submission to the U.S. Coast Guard.Our submission package provides a superior experience for you, and the Coast Guard evaluator.  We prepare a well documented package with cross references, all qualifications, and all required proofs in an easy to follow format.  First and foremost, this ensures your qualifications match the requirements set forth in the current regulations, for the desired action being requested, and second it makes it much easier for the Coast Guard evaluator to evaluate your package and give it their final seal of approval. Your application is pre-evaluated for final approval by the USCG, by our staff of highly trained evaluators.All requirements for your application are confirmed, including domestic and international requirements.All service required for your application is confirmed.

This helps us answer your future questions, provide you with accurate career guidance, and gives you a significant start on your next pre-evaluation. You are encouraged to add to your information store at frequent intervals to keep it up to date. If we find you are qualified for your application, we complete your package with a cover letter to that effect, signed by our chief evaluator.

In the event an application we approve is disapproved by the U.S. Coast Guard (on merit or technical issues - not criminal or other issues we have no knowledge or control over) we immediately appeal the denial to the highest level on your behalf.   

If the denial is upheld we may do one or more of the following:

• Hold your application for up to one year while you become qualified.
• Work with you to ensure the application will be approved the next time it is submitted.
• Prepare your next submission at no charge.
• Refund your payment.

If we find you are not qualified for your application:

• We work with you to change your application.
• We provide you with specific written guidance, and the options open to you on how to become qualified.

Please note: As of 2009, the only reason that you need to go to the REC is to be issued the Oath for an Original License or Document.  However, the Oath may be issued by any Notary Republic.  We offer full Notary service in our office.
