100 Percent GuaranteeWe guarantee your satisfaction !!

If we find you are qualified for your application, we complete your package with a cover letter to that effect, signed by our chief evaluator.

In the event an application we approve is disapproved by the U.S. Coast Guard (on merit or technical issues - not criminal or other issues we have no knowledge or control over) we immediately appeal the denial to the highest level on your behalf.

If the denial is upheld we may do one or more of the following:

  • Hold your application for up to one year while you become qualified.
  • Work with you to ensure the application will be approved the next time it is submitted.
  • Prepare your next submission at no charge.
  • Refund your payment.

If we find you are not qualified for your application:

  • We work with you to change your application.
  • We provide you with specific written guidance, and the options open to you on how to become qualified.
You remain responsible for delivering your application to the U.S. Coast Guard, and paying their fees. Federal laws, regulations, and policies are always changing.  Our chief evaluator has over 25 years of experience working with mariners and mariner evaluations.  When she says you are qualified - you can bet the farm you are.  When she says you aren't, you'd better listen because she's been known as one of the strictest evaluators ever, and she really KNOWS this stuff.   Her job is to always keep up with policy and regulation changes, and train our evaluators to maintain her high standards.  We have many contacts and we are not afraid to use them!  We are training new evaluators to follow in the quality footsteps of our chief evaluator, so that you can be assured, you will always receive the very best service.

Please note: While we are all about keeping the number of trips you make to the REC to a minimum, Mariners are required to appear in person before the U.S. Coast Guard for certain transactions, and at this time, we do not deal with background investigations or fingerprinting in conjunction with Mariner applications.
