How to Purchase our Services As consultants, we work for you, our individual customer, on an hourly basis. Our rate is $100.00 USD per hour, accumulated and billed at 1/4 hour or more total hours per month. All taxes are included in our rate. Establising an account with us is easy, all you have to do is complete payment for one transaction. Initial consultation must be paid at the time of service, and qualifies you as an establislhed account. Appication Preparation typically takes about 3/4 hour, but as our introductory offer, for a limited time, your cost is only $25.00. Pre-Evaluation requires an extensive initial interview by your evaluator, and review of your supporting documentation. Pre-Evaluation usually takes about 1 hour, depending on your individual situation, qualifications, and goals. Established accounts may utilize our consulting services at any time, for any appropriate purpose related to YOUR personal circumstance. These services are billed at the end of the month in which services were rendered if the total is 1/4 hour or more. If the total is less than 1/4 hour your balance is carried until you accumulate 1/4 hour or more. Customers, for whom we are providing continuing consultation, maintain career related information in our system, and will be charged at our regular rate each time we enter new information. As the cost to add individual pieces of information is quite low per item, we hold off billing until you have accumulated at least 1/4 hour in total charges, and then bill your account at the end of the current month. Established accounts with large time consuming requrements, may request to divide payments over several months. You may earn a referral credit toward your account balance by referring a new account. At present the referral credit is $25 per new Pre-Evaluation or "consulting" account. Sorry, but at this time,package preparation only customers do not qualify for a referral credit.
From time to time, our consultants conduct seminars at local maritime schools and employers, during which, we are available for question and answer sessions relative to your special circumstance. This information will help you determine which of our services are best for you. If you become an established account during one of these sessions you will be receive a 15% discount on your first bill. Please contact us for our current schedule. In conjunction with our seminars, we offer "office days" at schools and maritime employers thoughout the Pacific Northwest. Our services are available through our office in Port Orchard, seminars, office days, phone, and email.
